links, expiry and burning
unlisted links
an unlisted thing does not appear on your site or in any listing. it opens only for someone you hand the link to, which is what you want for a draft you would like a friend to read.
expiry
you can give a thing a life span. once it passes, it stops being served and is tidied away soon after. nothing lingers longer than you asked it to.
read once
a thing set to burn is shown a single time. opening it asks first, so a link preview or a scanner does not spend the read. the next person to open it gets it, and after that it is gone.
drafts
a private thing is a draft. it is never served on your subdomain. you read and edit it from your desk, and you can preview it as a real page through a short-lived link the app signs for you.
